MadReal

Six years of beats, still earning today

For six years, MadReal was my full-time job and main income. I made every beat and handled the licensing, contracts and sales myself, working with artists worldwide. My production landed on records for Lil Skies, Tory Lanez, Vegas Jones, Emis Killa and others, including Sha Ek’s Billboard-charting album "Return of the Jiggy". I stopped promoting MadReal in 2020, and while sales have slowed, the catalogue still generates income on its own.

Clickandrap

A marketplace connecting producers with artists

Founded and ran an online marketplace where music producers sold beats directly to artists. The first version was built by developers I hired; I then rebuilt the whole platform myself with one collaborator, and ran the business side solo - product, seller acquisition, payments, pricing and support.

Where I learnt to build

That codebase is what taught me to build. HTML and CSS properly first, then JavaScript and Vue on the front end, and enough Django and Postgres to keep the back end standing on its own - every product I have shipped since starts from what I picked up here.
