Logic's MIDI-FX — arpeggiators, chord triggers, generative tools like Cthulhu — shape notes in real time, but that stream never lands on the track as editable MIDI. The perfect accident plays once and it's gone. MIDI Amber catches it, holds it, and hands it back as a file.

Drop MIDI Amber into the MIDI-FX slot after your generator and press the record knob.
Every note flowing through is captured in real time and drawn on the built-in piano-roll.
Pull the capture onto a track, or hit EXPORT MIDI — a tempo-locked Standard MIDI File, snapped to the bar.

A from-scratch recreation — and revival — of the discontinued AudioCR "Midi FX Freeze", rebuilt as a single Objective-C++ Audio Unit with a custom Cocoa interface, signed and shipped in a drag-install DMG under the MadReal name.
