Aura

An operating system for an AI music artist

One macOS app that runs an entire AI artist - identity, songs and lyrics, AI music videos, beat-synced short-form channels, and the creator deals around them - all writing to a single local project.

What it is

One app, five workspaces

Aura splits the work by job, not by tool. Each workspace owns one stage of the artist - and they all share the same songs, files, and local state, so a track never gets rebuilt to become a video, a short, or a creator brief.

Artist

Identity, LoRA, references, and generated media

Songs

Prompts, audio, lyrics, translations, eras, and playback

Music Video

Scripts, scenes, characters, lyric videos, and trailers

Promos

Discovery, sequences, captions, uploads, and channel lanes

Influencers

Creator discovery, scoring, outreach, rates, and contracts

Why it exists

The artist needed an operating system

Aura began as a way to assemble short-form videos, then grew into the tool that runs the whole Xhotali production pipeline. The hard part was never one export button - it was connecting music, lyrics, visuals, creator sourcing, and publishing without living in ten disconnected tools.

  • Prompt songs in one app, store audio in another, then lose the usable versions

  • Check African-language lyrics and translations by hand before any render can ship

  • Generate video scenes with no stable character identity or reusable project state

  • Track creators, rates, countries, outreach, and contracts across scattered notes

  • Build TikTok-ready posts while keeping sound attribution, captions, timing, and upload state intact

How it works

From identity to published, in one loop

1
Artist identity

Reference photos, LoRA setup, and generated press imagery

2
Songs

Style prompts, lyrics, translations, Lyria audio, imports, and eras

3
Music video

Scripts, characters, b-roll, scene clips, lyric videos, and trailers

4
Promos

Discovery, filtering, beat-synced sequences, captions, and TikTok scheduling

5
Influencers

Creator discovery, scoring, outreach stages, pricing, and contracts

Every workspace writes durable state back to the same local project folder, so a song can become a lyric video, a release trailer, a short-form sequence, and a creator brief without being rebuilt from scratch.

Workspace 01 · Artist

A consistent artist, on demand

Train a Flux LoRA on reference photos, then generate press and lifestyle imagery that stays on-character across every era. Identity, references, and finished renders all live in one workspace.

Workspace 02 · Songs

Songs, lyrics, and language QA

Compose style prompts, render Lyria and Suno audio, and write lyrics with African-language translations that Claude and Gemini check before any render ships. Every version stays archived by era instead of overwriting the last.

Workspace 03 · Music Video

From a song to a finished video

Scripts, characters, image-to-video scene clips, lyric videos, and release trailers, assembled on a beat-accurate timeline with Replicate and Fal. One saved song becomes many cuts without being rebuilt from scratch.

Workspace 04 · Promos

Beat-synced short-form, scheduled

Discover clips, filter them through MediaPipe and CLIP quality gates, sync sequences to the beat, then publish to per-channel accounts with Playwright and ffmpeg. Posts go out on the right sound, with caption pools and upload state intact.

Creator deals, run as a roster

Discover creators, score them, and drive every outreach from first contact to signed deal in one place - contact routes, rates, discussion status, and contract PDFs tracked per creator, instead of scattered across notes and chats.

We build what doesn't exist yet

What we learned

Internal software should feel like leverage

Aura is not an automation script with a UI bolted on. It is a custom operating system for one creative business - the exact files, checks, models, states, and publishing rules PixelVision needs to run an AI artist without rebuilding the workflow every week. That is the point of bespoke software: remove the repeated labor, keep the creative decisions visible, and let the team work at the level of the product instead of the plumbing.
