This Privacy Policy explains how SnapPrice AI ("SnapPrice AI", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application (the "App") and related services.

2) What the App does

SnapPrice AI lets you take or upload a photo of an item and receive an estimated resale price range. You may also enter details (e.g., model, year, CPU, RAM, storage) to improve the estimate.

3) Information we collect

A. Photos and item information you provide

  • Images you take in the App or upload from your photo library.
  • Item details you enter or confirm (category, brand, model, condition notes, specs, etc.).

B. Device and usage information (typically collected automatically)

  • App activity (screens viewed, feature usage, timestamps, interactions).
  • Device data (device model, OS version, language, approximate region inferred from device settings).
  • Diagnostics (crash logs, performance data, error events).

C. Identifiers (only if enabled in your build)

Advertising identifiers (e.g., IDFA) and related data if you show ads or measure ad performance.

Analytics identifiers used to understand usage and improve reliability.

D. Support communications

If you contact support, we collect the information you send (email address, message content, and any attachments).

4) How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide the core service (analyze item photos + details and return a price estimate).
  • Improve accuracy and user experience (debugging, model/product improvements, UX refinement).
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and protect our systems.
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests.

5) How image analysis works

To generate an estimate, your image and relevant item details may be processed by our systems and/or by service providers that perform image analysis or AI inference on our behalf. We use this processing only to provide and improve the service.

If we offer an in-app option to allow your photos to be used to improve the service, we will use them only if you opt in, and you can withdraw consent by [describe method].

6) Sharing of information

We may share information with:

  • Performance of a contract: providing the estimate and App functionality.
  • Legitimate interests: improving reliability, preventing fraud, securing the service, analytics that do not override your rights.

11) Your rights (EEA/UK)
